A civic group known as the Coalition of Concerned Nigerian Citizens has formally written to the Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), notifying the agency of its intention to commence a second phase of peaceful protest regarding the recent appointment of Executive Directors within the organisation.
According to the group, the planned protest aims to draw further attention to concerns surrounding the appointment process and to demand greater transparency and fairness in leadership decisions within the revenue agency.
Renewed Call for Transparency
In its letter, the Coalition of Concerned Nigerian Citizens emphasised that the demonstration would remain peaceful and lawful.
