President Bola Tinubu visited Kaduna State on Thursday to unveil a series of major development projects aimed at improving healthcare, education, and transportation. The president launched a skill acquisition center, a 200-bed specialist hospital, and a fleet of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses during his official visit to the state.
The projects were facilitated by Governor Uba Sani, who welcomed the president warmly. Governor Sani stated that these initiatives reflect his administration’s commitment to empowering citizens through education and healthcare. He added that Tinubu’s leadership and support were crucial in making the projects a reality.
Tinubu’s development projects in Kaduna include the state-of-the-art skill acquisition center named after him. The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Skill Acquisition Centre will train youth and women in practical skills to improve employment and entrepreneurship. President Tinubu praised the governor’s vision and noted that the center would open new opportunities for Kaduna residents.
He also unveiled a 200-bed hospital built to deliver quality and accessible healthcare. The hospital is fully equipped and expected to serve people within and outside Kaduna. Health workers in attendance expressed optimism about the facility’s potential to reduce the state’s medical burden.
In addition, Tinubu flagged off the deployment of 100 CNG-powered buses, a move aimed at promoting clean energy and affordable transport. The buses, part of Kaduna’s green transport plan, will help reduce carbon emissions and offer cost-effective options for commuters.
Kaduna residents gathered in large numbers to welcome the president and witness the event. Many expressed joy at the projects and thanked the president for visiting. Traditional rulers, politicians, and dignitaries from different sectors attended the ceremonies and praised the synergy between the federal and state governments.
These development projects by Tinubu mark a strategic step toward economic and social upliftment. He emphasized the need for unity, partnership, and innovation to drive Nigeria’s growth. According to him, when leaders invest in people’s welfare, the country becomes stronger and more prosperous.
Governor Sani affirmed that his administration would continue to align with the president’s Renewed Hope agenda. He assured the people that more projects are underway and urged them to support government efforts.
As part of the event, Tinubu toured the facilities and interacted with local entrepreneurs and health professionals. He encouraged the youth to take advantage of the new resources and aim for excellence.
