
French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is unacceptable and said he intends to discuss the issue with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Speaking to reporters at a meeting of European leaders in Albania on Friday, Macron said, “The humanitarian situation in Gaza is intolerable,” adding, “We are reaching a level that we have never seen before, in terms of the humanitarian impact, since the beginning of this.”
Macron emphasized that the priority is to achieve a ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas and to restore access to humanitarian aid.

He said he would speak with Prime Minister Netanyahu about the situation and has also raised the matter with President Trump.
Trump, who concluded a Middle East tour on Friday without achieving a new ceasefire as Israel intensifies its military campaign, has acknowledged the growing hunger crisis in Gaza and the need for aid deliveries.
