
On Friday, Swedish police announced that they had sealed off a street in Malmo, located in southern Sweden, following the discovery of a potentially hazardous object. Authorities advised local residents to remain indoors.
According to a statement on their website, the national bomb squad has been deployed to the scene, and residents were instructed to avoid windows and balconies.
A police spokesperson indicated, “Our initial assessment suggests that there are a few items we regard as dangerous,” but did not provide additional information.
