
ABUJA, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his condolences following the death of Alhaji Abbas Sanusi, a prominent figure in the Kano Emirate Council and a senior kingmaker. Sanusi, who held the title of Galadiman Kano, passed away at the age of 92 after a long illness.
Sanusi was a highly respected traditional leader who played a significant role in the selection of Emirs in the Kano Emirate. His death marks the end of an era for the influential traditional institution.
