Prof Anugbum Onuoha has assumed duties as the new Resident Electoral Commissioner for Akwa Ibom state.
Onuoha, a Professor of Law, takes over from Obo Efanga, who has been redeployed to Edo state in the same capacity.

Efanga had previously served in Edo as Resident Electoral Commissioner.
