The President of the Nigeria Society for Criminology, Oludayo Tade, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intensify efforts toward securing Nigeria and protecting citizens from the growing security challenges confronting various parts of the country.
Speaking on Sunday, Professor Tade stressed that while security agencies have continued to make significant sacrifices in the fight against crime and insecurity, there remains a need for stronger and more coordinated strategies capable of addressing emerging threats and guaranteeing the safety of Nigerians.
He noted that security remains one of the most important responsibilities of government and serves as the foundation upon which economic growth, social stability, and national development are built.

Professor Tade observed that no nation can achieve sustainable progress without adequate protection of lives and property.
